For many years I tried to get back into shape and transform myself back to the person that I was. Unfortunately I was never able to get over the hump, working with trainers that would make the workout session feel like torture, it became more depressing than motivating. Then I was able to share my story and struggles with Alexander. He took the time to listen, to care and created a nutrition and workout program for me. He gradually started building my strength up, giving me the confidence and energy to keep pushing myself. In one year I was able to go from 245 to 170. Most importantly I felt good about myself mentally, emotionally and physically. I wouldn’t have been able to get on this journey without the help of Alexander. I will forever be grateful he helped change my life.

It had been a while since I had a consistent workout routine. I would run here and there and try to eat light and remain somewhat fit but I could never get high results. After the first couple of workouts with Alex I found myself motivated to go to the gym. It’s been years since I really lifted and this plan really helped me find a rhythm. I think a big factor in this was the meal plan, it taught me what clean eating really is, and definitely kept me energized throughout the day.

Being a busy mom of 3, I struggle with staying consistent with my workouts. I met with Alex to come up with a plan that would help me reach my workout goals. He was able to provide weekly at home workouts and a list of foods that I needed to incorporate in my daily calorie intake. He makes sure to follow up on how the workouts are going so he knows if adjustments are needed, along with asking for weigh ins to ensure we are staying on track. I started training with Alex Cornejo in November 2023. At the time, I had multiple medical
issues: poorly-controlled asthma, the steroids used to treat my asthma had made me
overweight and mildly diabetic, my blood pressure and cholesterol levels were elevated. I was
very deconditioned and did not know if I could even keep up with a regular fitness regimen.
Alex was undaunted by my problems and took me on with quiet confidence. He put me at ease
right away. He listened to me, understood my concerns and goals, did a careful evaluation and
crafted a thoughtful exercise regimen. He implemented “slow and steady” steps and started with
simple but effective techniques in stretching, strength training, balance and aerobic exercises.
Every 3-4 weeks, he incrementally increased the load and time for each exercise. He evaluated
my performance closely and always emphasized “form” over speed, and adequate rest between
exercises. Alex demonstrated each exercise multiple times, until I got the “form” right. He was
patient and encouraging, and never once showed any frustration when I was slow or made
mistakes. Alex concentrated on my overall well-being and paid attention to my nutrition as well,
especially my protein intake.
Over the past 6 months, I have made significant progress: my asthma is under control – I have
not used my rescue inhaler in almost 4 months; my blood sugars are well-controlled; my HDL
levels (the “good cholesterol”) have increased; I am stronger and my exercise endurance is
significantly better. I attribute these positive developments in large part to the personal attention
and encouragement I have received from Alex.
Alex is professional, punctual, knowledgeable and empathetic. He is a good communicator and
demonstrates each exercise/training regimen personally before he makes you do it. During the
1-hour training session, he is by your side the entire time, giving you his full attention. I feel
fortunate to have Alex as my personal trainer and would recommend him highly to anyone
wanting to receive exceptional, personalized fitness training with the objective of improving their
overall health and well-being.

My experience training with Alex was great and helped me a lot with knowing different workout routines and really pushing myself to not give up. Also was having a little bit of back issues to where it would stop me from doing certain exercises and Alex helped me with the issue to help get my back corrected from having those back pain issues. What was also beneficial was helping me get back into fitness and learning how to do the workouts the correct way without injuring myself and getting pointers on my nutrition as well. But overall Alex is an excellent trainer and would recommend him to anyone willing to get back into fitness.

Alex is an exceptional trainer. I appreciate his positivity and enthusiasm! He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of fitness. Ensuring that I am using proper technique has always been important. Alex has been very great to work with. He understands my limitations but still gets the best workout out of me each time. Alex listens to all of my concerns and then talks with me on how to work on them.

Alex is totally awesome! He listens to what target areas are of concern and results you are attempting to achieve. Along the way, he explains what you’re doing and why you’re doing it so you have a clear understanding. Most importantly he shares what you can do in his absence!!! Having Alex as my trainer has been such a great experience! He takes the time showing me the workouts and when I’m doing it wrong or have bad form he corrects me but does it in a way that I don’t feel bad about doing the mistake. He isn’t afraid to call me out and push me to my limit. He is supportive, patient, and overall a great attitude every workout. Best part has been that I have felt more confident in my own body and have felt a lot healthier and active!

Alex is a great personal trainer, besides being knowledgeable on the different workouts and muscle groups. He is patient and works with you to improve form, targeting specific muscle groups and desired results. He is also kind and will work at your pace. Alex is a great trainer to work with! He is very knowledgeable and professional. He’ll work with you to determine the best plan of action for your workouts, showing you how you can either scale something back so as not to injure yourself, or how to take it up to the next level when you’re ready to challenge yourself. Alex was always super patient to help me figure out how to improve a particular exercise that I might be struggling with. Alex is an amazing trainer. I started working with him thinking I would do about 2 months of training but I’m still at it months later because I am enjoying it so much. His knowledge of how to isolate and work on particular areas has been invaluable in helping me develop core strength after years of sitting at a desk all day. I always feel like I am in great hands working with him as he pays close attention to how I am feeling and works me hard but never too hard or to the point of strain. On top of that, he’s an all-around great guy and a pleasure to chat with while working out. I highly recommend him!
